π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Platform Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Director of E-commerce, you'll lead a cross-functional team to drive digital transformation initiatives. Your impact will be felt throughout the organization, as you'll contribute to revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of e-commerce developers, designers, and quality assurance experts to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements to the e-commerce platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute digital transformation initiatives, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for the e-commerce platform, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market trends.
Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to ensure the e-commerce platform's performance, scalability, and security.
Work closely with the product team to define product requirements, ensuring seamless integration with the e-commerce platform.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials to support team members and stakeholders.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in e-commerce platform management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience with e-commerce platform management, including technical architecture, development, and deployment.
Strong technical skills in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with cloud-based technologies like AWS or Azure.
Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certification in cloud computing, DevOps, or e-commerce platform management.
Experience with e-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
