šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Platform Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce platform, managing a team of developers and QA engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. You will report directly to the CTO and will have a significant impact on our e-commerce strategy and customer experience.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement e-commerce platform strategies to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
- Manage a team of developers and QA engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of e-commerce platform projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration and execution of e-commerce strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the e-commerce platform, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies, and recommend updates and improvements to the e-commerce platform.
- Develop and manage e-commerce platform budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered within scope and budget.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute test plans for e-commerce platform projects.
- Work with the development team to resolve technical issues and bugs in the e-commerce platform.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration and execution of e-commerce strategies.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce platform operations, with a strong background in software development, QA, and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or Magento.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with containerization, such as Docker.
- Experience with cloud-based databases, such as Amazon RDS.
- Experience with e-commerce analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics.
