🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior E-Commerce Supply Chain Optimization Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing our e-commerce supply chain operations in the German market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve our online shopping experience, logistics, and inventory management. Your expertise will help us reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction, and grow our online sales. You will report to the E-Commerce Operations Manager and collaborate with other specialists to achieve our business goals.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement data-driven supply chain optimization strategies to improve our e-commerce operations, focusing on logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to enhance our online shopping experience.

• Collaborate with our logistics and transportation teams to optimize shipping routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.

• Work with our inventory management team to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve product availability.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.

• Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to track key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our supply chain operations remain competitive and efficient.

• Collaborate with other teams to launch new e-commerce initiatives and projects, ensuring a seamless supply chain experience.

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and development.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain optimization, logistics, or a related field, with a focus on e-commerce.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex data sets and metrics.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies to improve supply chain operations.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, logistics management systems, and inventory management software.

• Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Experience working with big data analytics tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

At Sam's Club, we offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
