As a Senior Financial Data Analyst in our Retail Banking department based in Germany, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights. Reporting directly to the Financial Data Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk management and compliance, to provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions. šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying trends, and patterns to inform business strategies and recommendations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, incorporating data visualization to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, monitoring data quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across teams, promoting data literacy, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, working closely with business partners to implement changes and measure their impact.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analysis, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.

• Collaborate with the data management team to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in financial data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality insights and recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, and data visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations, particularly in the European context.

• Experience working with large datasets, including data governance, quality assurance, and data visualization.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.

• Experience working with cloud-based solutions, such as AWS or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL.

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, such as COBIT or ISO 38500.

• Experience working with data storage solutions, such as Hadoop or NoSQL databases.
