🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst on our Remote Banking Solutions team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and communicating complex financial data to drive business decisions. You will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth. Your primary goal will be to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling them to make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze and forecast business performance

- Create and deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights to inform business decisions

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring alignment with Bank of America's risk management framework

- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive business growth

- Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide support to other teams as needed

- Develop and maintain financial planning and analysis tools, such as financial dashboards and reports

- Ensure accuracy and quality of financial data and reports

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-technical stakeholders

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial planning and analysis tools

- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inform senior leadership

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

- Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights

- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and principles
