šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Healthcare Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of data integration and analytics solutions to support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and develop data pipelines, and implement and maintain data visualization tools. You will report to the Director of Data Engineering and contribute to the development of the team. Your expertise will help improve the quality and speed of data-driven insights, enabling business leaders to make informed decisions.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement data integration pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies such as AWS Glue, Apache Beam, and Apache NiFi. Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Looker. Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics. Design and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain documentation of data flows, data lineage and data quality metrics. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical production issues. Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging industry trends and technologies.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

9+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics. Strong background in data integration, data warehousing and data visualization. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java and Scala. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations. Certified Data Engineer or related certification. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. Experience with cloud-based data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam and Apache Flink. Experience with data governance and compliance regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. Certified Data Scientist or related certification. Experience with Agile development methodologies.

This is a contractor position with a salary range of £55,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience.
