π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Investment Banking IT Operations Manager β EMEA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our investment banking IT systems across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will report directly to the Head of IT Operations and will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals. Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality IT services that meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that thrives on innovation and excellence.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality IT services, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate IT risks.
Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT vendors, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT, identifying opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of IT staff.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in IT operations, preferably in investment banking.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
Strong technical skills, including expertise in IT service management, system administration, and networking.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in IT.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in IT service management, such as ITIL or COBIT.
Experience with cloud-based IT infrastructure and services, such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework.
Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA or Asana.
Fluency in multiple languages, particularly German, French, or Arabic.
