🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior IT Project Manager at Sysco UK, you will oversee multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will report directly to the IT Director and work closely with the IT team, stakeholders, and vendors. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate IT projects, from initiation to closure, to drive business growth and transform our operations.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and coordinate IT projects, defining scope, timeline, budget, and resources required.

- Develop project charters, business cases, and detailed project plans, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and commitment.

- Lead project teams, motivating and guiding them to achieve project goals, and resolve conflicts when necessary.

- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation when required.

- Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and team members to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

- Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring compliance with budget and financial constraints.

- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout project delivery.

- Continuously assess and improve project management processes, identifying areas for optimization and best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a foodservice or distribution industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification.

- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience in managing hybrid projects.

- Proficiency in MS Project, Asana, Jira, or similar project management tools.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of experience in IT project management.

- Master's degree in a related field.

- Experience with project management software, such as MS Project Online or CA PPM.

- Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology).
