🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Informatics Specialist to join our Clinical Data Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing clinical data analytics solutions to improve patient outcomes and drive healthcare innovation. You will report directly to the Director of Clinical Data Analytics and will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of clinicians, researchers, and IT professionals. πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

β€’ Design and develop clinical data analytics solutions using a range of technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based platforms.

β€’ Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to identify areas of opportunity for data-driven insights and to develop strategies for addressing complex clinical problems.

β€’ Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines, ETL processes, and data visualizations.

β€’ Work with our IT team to integrate new technologies and tools into our infrastructure.

β€’ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical informatics and data analytics.

β€’ Develop and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and administrators.

β€’ Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices for data analytics and medical informatics.

β€’ Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and to develop solutions to address complex clinical problems.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

β€’ 10+ years of experience in medical informatics or a related field.

β€’ Master's degree in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, computer science, or public health.

β€’ Strong understanding of clinical data analytics and data visualization principles.

β€’ Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based platforms.

β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

β€’ Experience working with clinicians and researchers to develop and implement data-driven solutions.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

β€’ Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, computer science, or public health.

β€’ Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.

β€’ Certification in a relevant field, such as health information technology or medical informatics.
