🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Philanthropy Operations Coordinator (Donor Stewardship) will play a critical role in supporting our fundraising efforts in the German market. This person will work closely with the Philanthropy Team to develop and implement strategies for donor engagement, stewardship, and retention. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with major donors, corporations, and foundations, and will work to identify new funding opportunities to support our programs and services.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement donor stewardship plans to build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporations, and foundations.

- Provide exceptional service to donors, including timely and personalized communication, reports, and acknowledgments.- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, gifts, and communications.

- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including research, outreach, and proposal development.

- Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team to develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.

- Provide administrative support for grant writing, reporting, and other fundraising initiatives.

- Assist with the coordination of events, including donor recognition events, galas, and other fundraising activities.

- Analyze and report on donor metrics and trends to inform fundraising strategies and decisions.

- Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in donor stewardship and fundraising.

- Collaborate with other departments to promote fundraising efforts and build internal support.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in donor stewardship, fundraising, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as communications, fundraising, or non-profit management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Experience with donor management software and other fundraising tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Fluency in German and English.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

As a Senior Philanthropy Operations Coordinator (Donor Stewardship) with Goodwill, you will be part of a dynamic and mission-driven team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our clients. We offer a competitive salary range of €56,000 - €74,000 per year, depending on experience.
