🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Remote E-Commerce Platform Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of Walmart's e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless customer experience, scalability, and growth. You will report directly to the Director of E-Commerce Platform Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, and Customer Service.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and execute operational strategies to drive efficient e-commerce platform performance, leveraging data-driven insights and analytics.

. Collaborate with Engineering teams to prioritize and implement platform enhancements, integrating with third-party vendors and services.

. Manage and optimize platform scalability, handling high traffic volumes and peak shopping seasons.

. Oversee incident management and emergency response, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact.

. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and internal teams.

. Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform enhancements, applying knowledge to drive business growth.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 5+ years of experience in e-commerce platform operations or a related field.

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

. Proven expertise in e-commerce platforms, including architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.

. Strong technical skills, including programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), operating systems, and database management systems.

. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

. Experience with e-commerce platform migration and integration.

. Knowledge of agile methodologies and iterative development.

Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
