šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Spacecraft Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth integration of spacecraft systems, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with engineers to meet project deadlines. You will report directly to the Integration Manager and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our mission to explore the solar system. As a key member of our Germany team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge space technology and work with a talented team of engineers, designers, and researchers.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain integration plans and schedules for spacecraft systems.

- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate spacecraft systems, including propulsion, power, and communication systems.

- Collaborate with engineers to resolve integration issues and implement design changes.

- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

- Develop and implement test procedures to validate spacecraft performance.

- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely delivery of spacecraft components.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in spacecraft integration.

- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of spacecraft system designs.

- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to integrate their systems with our spacecraft.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design notes, test procedures, and integration plans.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in spacecraft integration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of spacecraft systems, including propulsion, power, and communication systems.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

- Experience with spacecraft integration software, such as ADAMS or MSC Nastran.

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) guidelines.

- Certification in Project Management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, a plus.

- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.

- Experience with spacecraft design and development.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience working with international teams and collaborators.

- Certification in a programming language, such as Python or C++.
