🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability by analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to inform strategic decisions. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, merchandising, and logistics. This role has a significant impact on our ability to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and maintain complex data models and reports to analyze supply chain performance, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and supplier performance.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights to inform business decisions.

* Conduct data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

* Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

* Provide expert-level data visualization and reporting to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

* Collaborate with IT to ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability.

* Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and success.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and implement process improvements.

* Mentor and train junior analysts to develop their skills and knowledge.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, or a related field.

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering.

* Advanced degree in a quantitative field or certification in data science or analytics (e.g. Certified Analytics Professional, Certified Data Scientist).

* Proven experience with data analysis and statistical modeling, including experience with machine learning and data visualization tools.

* Strong SQL and programming skills (e.g. Python, R).

* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across the organization.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment.

* Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

* Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform).

* Certification in data science or analytics (e.g. Certified Analytics Professional, Certified Data Scientist).

* Experience with data governance and quality initiatives.
