🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Amazon Alexa Devices team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet the company's technical and business requirements. Your primary goal will be to drive the development and deployment of new features and functionality for Amazon Alexa devices, such as smart speakers and displays. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and risks, as well as collaborating with other teams to resolve technical issues and improve the overall quality of our products.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality for Amazon Alexa devices.

• Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and ensure that technical projects align with company goals.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks, as well as develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as quality assurance and customer support, to resolve technical issues and improve the overall quality of our products.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.

• Present project status and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Mentor and develop junior team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on software development and deployment.

• Strong technical skills, including experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems, and cloud-based technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.

• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud-based technologies.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
