Senior Technical Writer for SaaS Product Documentation

🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As our new Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our SaaS product. You will work closely with our product development team to ensure that the documentation accurately reflects the product's features and functionality. You will report to our Senior Product Manager and will have a significant impact on the user experience of our product.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create user manuals, guides, and other documentation for our SaaS product.

Develop and maintain documentation templates and styles.

Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that documentation accurately reflects product changes.

Conduct user research to inform documentation content and design.

Create and maintain documentation for new product releases.

Develop and deliver training programs for internal stakeholders.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience with SaaS product documentation and user experience design.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools such as MadCap Flare or Confluence.

Master's degree in Technical Communication or a related field.

Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

Certification in Technical Writing or a related field.

Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and human-centered design.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
