🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Telehealth Solutions Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing telehealth solutions that enhance patient care and outcomes. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address healthcare needs, develop and implement strategies to improve patient engagement and experience, and analyze data to inform decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Telehealth, this role will have a significant impact on shaping the future of telehealth at Northwell Health.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain technical architecture for telehealth solutions, including cloud-based infrastructure, APIs, and integrationswith existing systems.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize telehealth initiatives, and develop project plans to implement these initiatives.

- Design and implement telehealth solutions that meet the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, including virtual consultations, remote monitoring, and health education.

- Analyze data to inform decision-making and improve telehealth solutions, including patient engagement, adoption rates, and outcomes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience and satisfaction.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in telehealth, and advise stakeholders on potential opportunities and risks.

- Collaborate with vendors and partners to select and implement telehealth solutions that meet the needs of Northwell Health.

- Lead and mentor junior team members to develop their technical skills and knowledge.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance telehealth solutions and patient care.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing telehealth solutions, including cloud-based infrastructure and APIs.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with telehealth platforms, including Epic or Cerner.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and iterative project management.

- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence in telehealth.

- Certification in healthcare IT or telehealth.

- Experience with healthcare data analytics, including data visualization and reporting.
