šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Virtual Reality Experience Designer for Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, you will be responsible for designing immersive and interactive virtual reality experiences for our global consumers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and research, to bring our brand stories to life in a new and innovative way. You will report directly to the Director of Interactive Experiences and will have a significant impact on shaping the future of our virtual reality experiences.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop immersive and interactive virtual reality experiences for Disney's global consumers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring brand stories to life in a new and innovative way.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest virtual reality technologies and trends.
Create and maintain detailed project plans and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
Work closely with research teams to gather insights on consumer behavior and preferences.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Disney remains a leader in the virtual reality space.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in virtual reality design and development.
Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field.
Proficiency in VR development tools, including Unity and Unreal Engine.
Experience with 3D modeling and animation software, such as Blender and Maya.
Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and user experience (UX) design methods.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with AR and MR technologies and tools.
Familiarity with Disney's brand guidelines and style.
Experience working with research teams to gather consumer insights.
Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
Certification in VR development or related fields.

Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year.
