🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Visual Computing Researcher on our Automotive team, you will work closely with our engineers and researchers to develop new visual computing technologies for the automotive industry. Your day-to-day work will involve researching and developing new algorithms, data structures, and software systems to improve the accuracy and performance of computer vision and machine learning models. You will report to our team lead and will have the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers and engineers across NVIDIA to drive innovation and growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Visual Computing Researcher, your key responsibilities will include:

Developing new algorithms and data structures for computer vision and machine learning applications.

Implementing and optimizing these algorithms in software systems for the automotive industry.

Collaborating with our engineers and researchers to integrate new technologies into our products.

Participating in the development of technical proposals and project plans.

Publishing research papers and presenting at conferences to share our innovations with the technical community.

Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced researcher with a strong background in computer science, computer vision, or a related field. You must have:

At least 8 years of experience in research and development, with a strong track record of innovation and achievement.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, or a related field.

Expert-level programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.

Strong understanding of computer vision and machine learning algorithms and techniques.

Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with others to drive innovation.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While not required, we prefer candidates who have:

Experience working with computer vision and machine learning frameworks such as OpenCV or TensorFlow.

A strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.

Experience presenting at conferences and sharing research with the technical community.

Familiarity with the automotive industry and its applications of computer vision and machine learning.
