šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Solutions Architect for International Content Delivery, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing the technical infrastructure that powers our global content delivery network. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our content is delivered efficiently, reliably, and with high quality. This role is essential to our mission, as it directly impacts our ability to provide an exceptional viewing experience to our members worldwide. By collaborating with our teams, you'll help drive innovation, reduce costs, and improve scalability, making a tangible impact on our business.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for international content delivery, including video streaming, content caching, and data replication.

Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new features and services, such as cloud-based storage and processing.

Work closely with our Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers to optimize performance, reduce latency, and improve content availability.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and external partners.

Collaborate with our IT Security team to ensure compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and technical specifications.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in content delivery, cloud computing, and data storage.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in technical architecture, software engineering, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Extensive experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proven expertise in content delivery networks, including video streaming, content caching, and data replication.

Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix.

Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Certified Solutions Engineer.

Experience with machine learning and data science, including programming languages like Python or R.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
