🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Store Operations Manager in the London Regions, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, driving sales growth, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for leading a team of store managers, overseeing store operations, and implementing strategies to improve store performance. You will report directly to the Regional Operations Director and work closely with the store management team to achieve store goals and objectives. Your impact will be felt across the entire store, as you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement store operations strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.

• Lead and manage store managers, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure they are performing at their best.

• Conduct regular store visits to monitor store operations, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for change.

• Analyze store performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for store managers to implement.

• Collaborate with the regional operations team to develop and implement regional strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.

• Develop and manage budgets for store operations, including inventory, labor, and capital expenditures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and secure store environment.

• Foster a culture of excellence, encouraging employees to provide exceptional customer service and work together as a team.

• Develop and implement training programs to ensure store managers have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

• Analyze customer feedback and develop recommendations for improving the customer experience.

• Collaborate with the regional marketing team to develop and implement in-store marketing initiatives.

• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and reduce stockouts.

• Collaborate with the regional logistics team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of inventory.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of store operations data, including sales, traffic, and employee metrics.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of retail experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a store operations or management role.

• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach and develop store managers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and external partners.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

• Certified in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and customer service.

Target offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
