🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies that reduce our environmental footprint and promote the use of green energy. You will work closely with the management team and other departments to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to achieve our sustainability goals. Your main focus will be on reducing carbon emissions, increasing energy efficiency, and promoting the use of renewable energy sources. You will report directly to the Sustainability Manager and will have a significant impact on the company's overall environmental performance.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments of our environmental performance.

Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to reduce carbon emissions.

Promote the use of renewable energy sources and increase energy efficiency.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to support sustainability initiatives.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvement.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.

Excellent knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and certifications such as ISO 14001.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.

Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in a related field or a certification in sustainability such as LEED AP.

Experience in developing and implementing greenhouse gas reduction strategies.

Familiarity with data analytics tools and software such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Certification in project management such as Agile or Scrum.

We work closely together to develop and implement sustainability initiatives, sharing knowledge and best practices to achieve our goals. We have a strong track record of successful projects and collaborations with external partners.
