🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sustainability Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of our sustainability goals across our operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will oversee waste management projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. 📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Develop and implement sustainable waste management practices across our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute waste reduction and recycling initiatives, resulting in cost savings and environmental benefits. . Conduct site audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize waste management processes. . Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. . Analyze data and report on waste management performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. . Develop and implement training programs for employees on sustainable waste management practices and company policies. . Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our operations.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

. 5+ years of experience in waste management, environmental sustainability, or a related field. . Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. . Strong knowledge of German waste management regulations and industry best practices. . Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience in data visualization tools. . Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. . Fluency in German and English. . Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.

. 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role. . Certification in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field. . Experience with waste management software and tools, such as waste tracking and reporting systems. . Knowledge of circular economy principles and practices. .
