🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their IT service delivery and operations needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive business value and growth. You will report directly to the Director of IT Service Delivery and Operations and will be a key member of our global IT service management team.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion with key customers
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers to understand their evolving needs and deliver tailored solutions to meet those needs
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with customers, leveraging Best Buy's capabilities and expertise
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including IT decision-makers and business leaders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Best Buy remains a leader in the IT service delivery and operations space
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on customer needs, sales strategies, and product offerings
• Develop and deliver sales-focused content, including proposals, presentations, and sales sheets, to support business growth and revenue expansion
• Participate in sales forecasting and planning processes to ensure accurate sales projections and targets
• Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure seamless handovers and minimize churn
• Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and revenue expansion with key customers
• Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify new product and service opportunities to drive business growth and revenue expansion
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure access to best-in-class products and services
• Stay up-to-date with industry certifications and training to ensure expertise and competitiveness
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or account management role, with a strong focus on IT service delivery and operations
• Proven track record of driving growth and revenue expansion with key customers
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery and operations principles, including service management, IT service management, and IT service delivery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute targeted sales strategies
• Experience working with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
• Strong product knowledge of IT service delivery and operations solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• CISSP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics principles
• Experience working with sales automation tools and platforms
• Strong knowledge of the German marketplace and IT service delivery and operations trends
• Fluency in German and/or French
