šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Technical Program Manager ā Advanced Manufacturing Operations, you will play a key role in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and processes for our aerospace and defense products. Reporting to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations, you will lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing experts to drive process improvements, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the quality, reliability, and performance of our products, as well as the safety and well-being of our customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps to drive innovation and digitalization in advanced manufacturing operations
- Lead the design and implementation of lean manufacturing processes and systems to optimize production efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing, robotics, and artificial intelligence
- Implement and manage data analytics and machine learning solutions to drive process improvements and predict maintenance requirements
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for manufacturing operations
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement among team members and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of manufacturing personnel
- Partner with suppliers and vendors to identify and implement best-in-class manufacturing solutions
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing operations, technology management, or a related field
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and technological innovations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, including additive manufacturing, robotics, and artificial intelligence
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning tools, such as Python, R, or SQL
- Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and priorities
- Familiarity with cloud-based manufacturing platforms, such as Siemens MindSphere or PTC ThingWorx
- Certification in a related field, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Project Management
- Experience working with suppliers and vendors to develop and implement manufacturing solutions
