šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new Microsoft Teams collaboration solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the roadmap and vision for the product. You will report to the Senior Director of Engineering and be a key member of the Microsoft Teams team. Your impact will be seen in the delivery of innovative solutions that make a difference to our customers and users.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the development and launch of new Microsoft Teams collaboration solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the roadmap and vision for the product.
* Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
* Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring that product launches are executed smoothly and with minimal disruption.
* Work closely with customer success teams to understand customer needs and provide feedback to the product team.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and product managers.
* Ensure that all product launches are well-documented, with clear instructions and support materials for customers and users.
* Collaborate with the Microsoft Teams team to develop and implement a roadmap for the product, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
* Ensure that all product launches are compliant with company standards and guidelines, including security, accessibility, and usability.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement a plan for testing and validation of product launches.
* Collaborate with the user experience team to develop and implement a plan for user research and feedback.
* Identify and develop opportunities for process improvement, ensuring that the product development process is efficient and effective.
* Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop and implement a plan for product launch, including marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors, ensuring that product launches are executed smoothly and with minimal disruption.
* Collaborate with the data analytics team to develop and implement a plan for data analysis and reporting, ensuring that product launches are informed by data and insights.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in a technical program management role, with a focus on software development and product launch.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
* Strong technical skills, with experience in cloud-based technologies, including Azure and Office 365.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
* Experience working in an agile development environment.
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with a strong attention to detail.
* Experience working with data analytics and reporting tools.
* Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Experience working with DevOps tools and practices.
* Experience working with cloud-based technologies, including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
* Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
* Certification in project management or technical program management.
* Experience working with user experience design principles and practices.
* Experience working with data analytics and reporting tools.
*Ability to speak multiple languages.
