🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Walmart e-Commerce Platform Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our e-commerce platform, which supports millions of customers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a talented team of engineers who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that impact our customers.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of our e-commerce platform.

Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize defects and provide recommendations for improvement.

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand customer needs and preferences and translate those into actionable insights for the engineering team.

Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by customers and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences.

Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services to production environments.

Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on e-commerce platforms or similar complex systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.

Expertise in manual testing methodologies and test planning.

Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Certified SDET or similar certification is a plus.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with cloud-based e-commerce platforms like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.

Certification in DevOps or similar certification is a plus.
