šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior E-commerce Data Analyst at Wayfair, you will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and business operations, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and insights, and developing data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions. You will report directly to the E-commerce Analytics Manager and work with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
. Develop and maintain complex data models and statistical models to forecast sales, revenue, and customer behavior.
. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns and product recommendations.
. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights and visibility into e-commerce performance.
. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
. Identify areas of opportunity for process improvements and develop recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply knowledge to enhance e-commerce performance.
. Participate in data governance and quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
. Develop and maintain knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
. Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or R.
. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
. Strong understanding of statistical models and data mining techniques.
. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery.
. Knowledge of data governance and quality principles.
. Certification in data science or related field.
. Experience with machine learning algorithms and models.
. Fluency in multiple programming languages.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per year, plus benefits including private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.
