As a part-time Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our UK logistics and transportation network, working closely with our global logistics team to optimize supply chain efficiency. Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders, freight carriers, and external partners to meet customer expectations.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and coordinate the logistics and transportation operations for Wayfair UK, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.

Analyze and report on logistics key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize our logistics network.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, freight carriers, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Customer Experience, and Supply Chain, to drive operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.

Design and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Conduct regular performance reviews with key carriers and transportation providers to ensure alignment with company expectations.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply knowledge to inform logistics strategies and recommendations.

Provide data-driven insights to senior leaders on logistics performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in a logistics, transportation, or operations management role within e-commerce or retail.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience with logistics operations management, including transportation management, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and inform business decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, carriers, and external partners.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.

Knowledge of the UK logistics market, including carrier relationships and transportation options.

Certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (e.g. APICS, CSCP).
