šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Content Strategy Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the UK content strategy for YouTube. You'll work closely with our cross-functional team to develop and execute content plans that drive engagement, reach, and revenue. You'll report directly to the Head of Content for the UK region and collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency and alignment. Your primary goal will be to create and implement content strategies that exceed our business objectives and delight our audience.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for the UK region, aligned with business objectives
Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and consumer behavior
Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency and alignment across regions
Work closely with our content creators, partners, and influencers to develop and implement content plans
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results
Stay up-to-date with the latest platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices
Maintain a deep understanding of our target audience and consumer behavior
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of experience in content strategy, marketing, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement and revenue
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and adjust strategies accordingly
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and regions
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience working with social media platforms, including YouTube
Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics
Familiarity with content management systems and publishing platforms

We offer a highly competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses
